Waveland Pharmacy is pleased to offer Sildenafil, the low-cost alternative to Viagra® and Tadalafil, the low-cost alternative to Cialis®.

We are able to offer Sildenafil for $2.50/tablet. Sildenafil is the active ingredient in Viaga®, however it comes in 20mg tablets. Your doctor will recommend how many you should take, between 2-5. So if you would take 100mg (most commonly recommended dosage), it would cost you $12.50 vs. $60+ for one Viagra®!

As of summer 2018, we're also able to offer Tadalafil 20mg for $40/tablet. Tadalafil is the identical active ingredient in Cialis® and costs half the price! And with Tadalafil, one tablet lasts three days!

A doctor's prescription is required for either generic ED Med. We recommend downloading and bringing this prescription form to your doctor or, if you're a medical professional, you can download our "Did you know?" form.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SILDENAFIL AND TADALAFIL?

They have the same differences as Viagra® and Cialis®. Sildenafil is prescribed to be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. Tadalafil is taken once and lasts for up to three days.

DO GENERIC ED MEDS REQUIRE A PRESCRIPTION?
Yes, both Sildenafil and Tadalfil require a prescription from your doctor. They can call, fax, mail, or send the prescription to us electronically. We have both prescriptions forms downloadable in teh pink buttons above.

CAN YOU CALL MY DOCTOR AND GET ME A PRESCRIPTION?
No, you should call your doctor and request the generic ED medication that you're looking for. They may have questions for you before prescribing that we would be unable to answer. Your doctor can call, fax or electronically send the prescription directly to us. Make sure your doctor writes for Sildenafil 20mg tablets or Tadalafil 20mg tablets. If written for any strength of Viagra® or Cialis®, we cannot use the generic ED equivalent.

I HAVE A PRESCRIPTION FOR GENERIC VIAGRA®. CAN YOU USE THAT?
No. Because of patent laws, we can only fill Sildenafil prescriptions; please ask your doctor to write the prescription for Sildenafil 20mg.

IS SILDENAFIL THE SAME AS VIAGRA® ?
Sildenafil is the only active ingredient in Viagra®. Brand name Viagra® comes in 25, 50 and 100mg tablets. Sildenafil generic comes only in 20mg tablets.

IS TADALAFIL THE SAME AS CIALIS® ?

Tadalafil is the same active ingredient as in Cialis®.

WILL MY INSURANCE PAY FOR GENERIC ED MEDS?
Insurances almost never pay for Sildenafil for ED because it is an “off-label” use of the drug.

WHY IS IT MORE EXPENSIVE AT MY PHARMACY?
Pricing varies widely among pharmacies. Being an independently owned pharmacy, we are able to offer this medication at an affordable price.

HOW MUCH DO GENERIC ED MEDS COST?

Sildenafil is $2.50 per tablet, and prescriptions vary from 2-5 tablets per use. We only fill prescriptions in quantities of 25, 50, 75, or 100 tablets.

Tadalafil is $40 per tablet and prescriptions are 1 tablet per use. We fill prescriptions of 5 or 10 tablets.

WHY DOES MY SILDENAFIL PRESCRIPTION SAY TO TAKE 2-5 TABLETS?

Each person has a different response to Sildenafil; your doctor will recommend the number of tablets you should take.

CAN I GET GENERIC CIALIS® INSTEAD?
Yes, if you doctor prescribes it. We're excited that just recently a generic version Cialis® is now available. Tadalafil, with the same active ingredient as Cialis®, is now available as a generic alternative.

WHY IS SILDENAFIL SO INEXPENSIVE?
A medication called Revatio® has come off patent and has generics available. It contains the same active ingredient as Viagra®, but in a different milligram strength.

WHERE IS SILDENAFIL MADE?
It is manufactured in India for a US company to FDA-approved standards for potency and quality.

MY PRESCRIPTION IS FOR 5O BUT I ONLY WANT TO TRY 5 TO SEE IF IT WORKS. CAN YOU CHANGE HOW MANY TABLETS I GET?

Yes, but shipping is only free for quantities of 25 or more.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SILDENAFIL AND SILDENAFIL CITRATE?
There is no difference. Technically, the medication is Sildenafil citrate. We call it Sildenafil to be brief.

I TRIED VIAGRA® BEFORE AND IT DIDN'T WORK VERY WELL. WILL SILDENAFIL WORK BETTER?
Sildenafil is the active ingredient in Viagra®, so the effect should be no different (either better or worse).

CAN I FAX OR EMAIL MY PRESCRIPTION TO WAVELAND PHARMACY?

No. If you have a written prescription from your doctor, we must have the original before it is filled. You can mail the prescription to us. Otherwise, your doctor can call, fax, or e-prescribe your prescription directly from their office.

DO YOU HAVE A STORE CLOSER TO ME?

We are located in Waveland, Mississippi. We have two other pharmacy branches in Diamondhead and Bay St Louis. If you're not near the Mississippi Coast, we can ship your generic ED med prescriptions anywhere in Mississippi via USPS First Class at no extra charge.

I LIVE OUTSIDE OF MISSISSIPPI, CAN YOU MAIL IT TO ME?

No. At this time, we are only licensed to mail within Mississippi.
